I removed the last post as my tiny laptop is really impossible to see whats going on with pics. I will update next around the middle of September when we move into our new home. Client galleries will be updated then too.
Workshop Weekend Retreat : We have officially added a new workshop in (December 4-6th 2009). For more info visit http://www.jinkyart.com.au/blog/retreat. We have had so many requests for workshops early next year in Australia however we are simply unable to plan for that time here. Im popping over to America so we cant do any for at least a year from now in Australia. That being said we have added one last new date right at the end of this year instead. But this is the very last date in Aust for a wee while. So..heres the current workshop status :

Well….its moments like these – where I get to watch my sweet Penny that I am literally able to breathe her in and remember that she was so close to not being with us. And I almost always get this way when I look at a photograph of her.
Our sweet sweet Penny.
She’s our miracle, our baby girl, who we nearly lost at birth. And unlike so many others who are not as lucky as us, she somehow came home with us ok. We know how lucky we are. We know. And I cant pretend it hasnt shaped us somehow. Or made me a little, well, wistful when it comes to her.
The other day we were driving back from the markets in Port Douglas, and Penny asked if I could take her picture. I jumped! YES! She never likes having her picture taken. Its so rare – as Im sure Ive blogged about that before.
So..she found her spot right by ocean and asked me to take the photo.
I just love how the still air of the evening is setting in behind her, with the soft calming waters swirling. Shes a brooder – a thinker. We call her our “Little Miss Serious”…
