I have been meaning to feature each location that we are heading to for workshops next this year, however I have run out of time. With sessions, making new presets for IttyBitty (coming very very soon, with a new website), and balancing family life – I have no time left at all.

So, I am starting with Texas (only because I have pics!)

Each and every photograph taken here (other then the workbook photos), were taken at Round Top where we will be doing our workshops this year in Texas. The Belle of Round Top is such a spectacular location and her owners, are some of the sweetest people we have ever met. We are super, super, super excited to be returning here and have decided to base our entire stay in Round Top.

(Yes its true, we wont be running workshops overseas in 2013 – well other then New Zealand possibly however, thats kind of counted as being local).

‎2012 family or child portrait Sessions : We are currently contacting everyone on the waitlist first about our 2012 sessions and slowly working through those. At this time, we are anticipating afew available dates in Canberra (early Feb), and Melbourne (Mid Feb), Adelaide (early March), and Perth (mid March). P.S : The bubbles ARE not imaginary – I promise! That being said…….I didn’t blow them myself ..that was definitely the work of a bubble machine ..and Alex (the mum of these two princesses…as she held the bubble machine for me).

What happens when you follow two boys around an Island?! Yep, that island, Pasley Island in Canada – again!

Boys get up to…well, this!

And that!

And anything adventurous! And not only do these two have the whole island to explore and the sweetest of cabins to stay in – it has been in their family for so many generations that I found it hard to keep up! That’s some childhood! A private island that their dad also grew up on. And his dad. And his dads dad – and so on!

Glimpses into childhood summer holidays is what dreams are made of. We all remember that feeling – the long days – too much fun to be had. And capturing this time for families is just the best thing ever!

This post reminds me so much of the sweet family that I photographed this summer, however, they stayed near a tiny isolated beach a few hours from Melbourne Australia. And that family reminded me of the two boys I photographed up in Cairns.

To say that I love my job ‘a lot’ is ….well….really under estimating the amount by about two truck loads!

I couldn’t resist a quick post. Having just returned from Canada I truly am dreaming of Pasley Island where these pics where taken. From a recent JinkyArt workshop meet-up. And these were only inside the forest – wait till you meet the shore line!

A special thanks to Bee Chalmers for allowing us to interrupt your holiday and for sharing one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to.

Pasley Island you truly are a delight. And again, Beccy and all those who came along – thanks you – twas too much fun!
