Leaving Ohio felt a little rushed – we just adored it there. It was ‘Oh!’ so dreamy – gorgeous blue skies with fluffy white clouds, green fields, and the sweetest of people, especially our hosts Wendy and Tom from Wire and Twine. My kids had the bestest of visits hanging out with their kids and not only that, they got to do so many craft and cool activities that now I have a lot to live up to. They even got to visit school! Thank you so much Tom and Wendy! You both went above and beyond and we are truly thankful.

The workshops went off smoothly – thanks to everyone who came along! We have some wonderful feedback over on facebook. These pics were taken at the last Ohio workshop and I am looking forward to having a look at all the pics because we really had such fun. I’m loathed to work on too many since Im on my laptop and really can’t tell how they are turning out too well, so I will wait till we are home in less then 3 weeks. Thanks to all our models who came along. And I know, truly, who gets to photograph butterflies that stay?! Well, Tom and Wendy breed butterflies and how could I resist?!

Vegas is…well.. Vegas. It is as expected. The girls have visited Build a Bear Workshop and later in the week we are taking them over to The Lion King. Its nice to have some downtime however we cant wait for LA!!

Long summer evenings, warm days, beautiful locations and families to photograph….

We are in heaven – a sneeky peak from one of our workshop shoots! =)

Firstly let me start by saying that I adored working with this lovely family on their “apple a day” shoot and …well….. I couldnt help but post a million. Not only that..since we are going away soon to America I thought Id post afew more from each shoot.

Talia, Penny & Ede with the very patient and lovely Megan who lives with us part-time. A regular scene at our house. Poor Simon is completely and utterly surrounded by girl power.

We are starting to pack for America (and Megan is traveling with us too..so that will be fun) – and I have to say – even though its only a month away we are super excited! Oh and on a side note : hasnt Ede grown?!

Ok, I admit. It is quite possible that I have a “wing” obsession! I won’t go so far as to say that I believe in faeries, or even “get into” the whole – faerie thang! I do however, love butterflies, at the moment (being that my taste seems to change like the wind)! And its quite possible that I may (maaaay) have a wing obsession!

I admit it! Its all there out in the open now!

A few post entries back I half admited to this obsession by saying that “these” wings have become quite a focal point in our house (or something like that) and well..you can see why now. I snapped this whilst Ede was waiting for Daddy to run her bath. (Oh and for all my clients wondering what the photographic wallpaper looks like, well, here it is..minus Ede’s behind of course!).

I just love it here this time of year. The golden leaves and those bright red hues – its just dreamy for photographs. We did this shoot a few weeks ago at The Old Stone House in Bungendore where this family stayed and enjoyed a relaxing weekend, as well as a JinkyArt photoshoot.

Last weekend, we had another amazing workshop with a group of fantastic ladies. They have warmed my heart over on the JinkyArt facebook page! Thank you for all your lovely comments about the retreat.
