Home! And its going to be a wee while till I am able to blog a full shoot as I need to catch up – however I promise they are coming. We just arrived home from our trip to America and really, I am bursting with thanks. It was so amazing. A quick thanks to all our hosts, models, and participants from the workshops. Pics from the workshops coming soon too.

However this shoot was done during some downtime – on a day off. A hot Texas day…and oh boy…did we have a lot of those hot Texas days. And I have a lot more to post of this shoot too…

In the light of the morning a sweet princess went out to sea in a midnight blue boat and found ….well…..I’m not sure what she found. I guess we will have to ask her.

A vast emptiness?!

Valerie Koop – a mother of 2, a wife, a loving and beautiful soul, fellow photographer – lost her husband to cancer this month. She was also a workshop attendee from Montana which is how I came to meet her.

An Auction has been organised in her name. The proceeds will go to a company that will help give her support by way of Nutritious meals, childcare, grocery shopping, household chores and SO much more. They can do all the things we wish we could do, but can’t.

We are donating a 1 on 1 – 2 hour Skype Photography Mentoring Session to discuss whatever it is that you desire:

Sometimes there are shoots where it feels wrong to not tell the full story, and the last two have been just that. This gorgeous family invited me into their home and we spent the afternoon doing what they seem to do best – having fun! oxox

Well, we are slowing working through all our clients that we photographed late December through to January. If your waiting …we are working on them.

This sweet family were just so inspiring to photographing. Inspiring in a personal way, as they were so sweet. Its times like these that Im so glad Im a photographer and not a writer, as I find it so hard to say what I want.

Since its been a few weeks between posting I thought I would post a lot of images from the sweet session. This little boys dad is a pilot and it only seemed right to celebrate that. He sure kept me busy running everywhere, however I have to say that there is just something about this family. So sweet, in so many ways. We did this shoot in Victoria, near Portsea – this is one of the many, many sessions to come from that area. It is so drop dead gorgeous round there and I’m a wee bit jealous of all the Victorian photographers who get this as a regular backdrop.
