Well….we had an amazing time in Montana (as you have probably already figured out from previous posts). We finished our 3rd Montana workshop only 2 days ago and it feels like an eternity ago. I already miss Teresa, Montana and the wonderful photographers who came along. To those who did, thank you so very much for making the trip out and for being you. And of course, to our wonderful models also.

These are just a few of the many many shoots that we did – I had too many favs to pick from and since we are now having some down days in San Francisco thought better of spending it here on the laptop! So just a taste and will be sure to pop up more once Im home and on my usual pc!!!!

We are in photographers’ heaven. I think. Quite possibly. Hamilton Montana – the place we received emails about asking “why would you go there! There is NOTHING in Hamilton Montana!”…. Don’t worry I really do understand why someone might think that a small town might be boring and not worth visiting however, to a photographer – oh it is so so dreamy. Its actually 10 times the size of the town we live in (and run workshops from) – so we feel so at home here. I feel overwhelmed with the fact that Hamilton actually has a large supermarket and even a toy store. Not only that, Hamilton has our host, Teresa, and her family, showing us all the secret antique places to shop (one of our favourite things to do) and showing us round. I feel forever in her debt for sharing her corner of the world with us.

So, playing with light here in Montana is ‘oh’ so enjoyable. And since we have been on a roll with butterfly wings – it only seemed right. We have so many pics from the workshops to post, and we have only had 2 so far..however here’s my Penny Butterfly….

Wow – what can I say?!! We are having such a great time here in America – especially in Montana. Oh Montana, how I adore thee! Meadowbrook farm is amazing (And our host Teresa and her family are so generous and oh so very welcoming). I loved meeting everyone who attended workshop 1 and cant wait for the rest!

Firstly let me start by saying that I adored working with this lovely family on their “apple a day” shoot and …well….. I couldnt help but post a million. Not only that..since we are going away soon to America I thought Id post afew more from each shoot.

Talia, Penny & Ede with the very patient and lovely Megan who lives with us part-time. A regular scene at our house. Poor Simon is completely and utterly surrounded by girl power.

We are starting to pack for America (and Megan is traveling with us too..so that will be fun) – and I have to say – even though its only a month away we are super excited! Oh and on a side note : hasnt Ede grown?!

Ok, I admit. It is quite possible that I have a “wing” obsession! I won’t go so far as to say that I believe in faeries, or even “get into” the whole – faerie thang! I do however, love butterflies, at the moment (being that my taste seems to change like the wind)! And its quite possible that I may (maaaay) have a wing obsession!

I admit it! Its all there out in the open now!

A few post entries back I half admited to this obsession by saying that “these” wings have become quite a focal point in our house (or something like that) and well..you can see why now. I snapped this whilst Ede was waiting for Daddy to run her bath. (Oh and for all my clients wondering what the photographic wallpaper looks like, well, here it is..minus Ede’s behind of course!).
