Beccy hosted our workshops in Vancouver and this is her mighty wee one! He was as cheeky as a boy can be, and as much delightful. He gave me all of 2 seconds to capture this but boy am I glad I was able to. Beccy, again, thank you so much for a once in a life time opportunity – your island is amazing – I am still buzzing from the experience.

What happens when you follow two boys around an Island?! Yep, that island, Pasley Island in Canada – again!
Boys get up to…well, this!
And that!
And anything adventurous! And not only do these two have the whole island to explore and the sweetest of cabins to stay in – it has been in their family for so many generations that I found it hard to keep up! That’s some childhood! A private island that their dad also grew up on. And his dad. And his dads dad – and so on!
Glimpses into childhood summer holidays is what dreams are made of. We all remember that feeling – the long days – too much fun to be had. And capturing this time for families is just the best thing ever!

This post reminds me so much of the sweet family that I photographed this summer, however, they stayed near a tiny isolated beach a few hours from Melbourne Australia. And that family reminded me of the two boys I photographed up in Cairns.

I couldn’t resist a quick post. Having just returned from Canada I truly am dreaming of Pasley Island where these pics where taken. From a recent JinkyArt workshop meet-up. And these were only inside the forest – wait till you meet the shore line!

As for this sweet girl, well, since I am going away this is a sneak peek xoxoxo.
This traveling family from Perth invited me into their home at the ever so sweetly named suburb of “Peppermint Grove”. Who would have thought that a suburb name such as that could even exist. Even though there were no candy canes, this whismical spot on the map surely came true to its name with this ever so sweet family.
As for me, I am headed to Vancouver soonish, so I will try and blog afew more prior to going.
I do have so many to blog, even from Brisbane earlier in the year – sessions that I just adore!! Hopefully I will have time! =)

My Penny! She has been dying to get a pair of skates and well, she finally found some. Shes 8 now btw.. 8 can you believe?! I cant believe it.
We have a whole heap of sessions to get out, so, this will be it for a few days. For all those at the PMA, hope your having fun! (jealous!).
