bali

I decided rather than just uploading my old site onto this one, Id go through and re-add photographs (and maybe add some new ones) and I guess talk about them.

These were taken in Bali, Indonesia – it feels like yesterday however I guess it really wasn’t. This wonderful client had attended one of my photography workshops here in Bungendore a few years prior and contacted me about coming to do a workshop and or shoots in Bali.

A dream come true of course.

So my friend Alex & I packed our bags and headed to one of the most beautiful places on the planet – hosted be one of the most gorgeous people on the planet.

We spent most of our time in Seminyak – however we also had the amazing opportunity to head up to Ubud – that place where Eat Pray Love was filmed. Ok, its not just from that film, however I think thats the best way to describe it to those who have not been there.

The only thing we didn’t do was ride a motor cycle – however Alex and I on one of those would have made for a very funny sight indeed.
1aHeres a behind the scenes shot of this family shoot taken by Lulu (thank you!). Alex and I.

I look back now and wonder if I will ever get the opportunity to return to Bali. I would love that some day – it really is a place worth visiting if you ever get the chance – and in thinking on it pop over to http://rowetimson.com/ as she is living in Bali right now and has fantastic photographs of her time there.

If you are interested in heading to Bali and doing a workshop with one of the most inspiring photographers out there, Deb Schwedhelm is headed there in August (oh how I wish I could go). Shelley?!

More from Bali another time, if you remember, rice fields!

Thank you Cicilia for an amazing, amazing time!

Having the fortune of coming back and revisiting all these trips that we have gone on, all the wonderful people we have met over the years to refill the blog is really inspiring to me.

I look at this photograph and remember the photographers that I met in Arizona, USA and am thankful all the giggles and the fun times.

And I get to add a little pin to our map again – have you checked out that new feature? The map on the right is going to slowly be populated with shoots from well, all over the place.

11 The first is always something worth remembering. And this, is the first blog post on this new blog. I will add more, so there is something here, however this…is the first! I can’t wait to repopulate this with old work and new. oxox
