A JinkyArt Session

A JinkyArt session is a collaboration of ideas aimed at creating a unique experience just for your child or children and in celebration of the wonders of their imagination and interests. We aim at delivering a once in a life time collection of photographs that depicts your children in a way that can be treasured for years to come.

The time of childhood fantasy through imagination is fleeting, playful, curious and so authentically your child. A moment in time truly worth embracing and capturing.

Together we dream up an idea that can be big, small, dreamy or realistic. The focus is your child/ren however we can take one or two family photographs if requested.  We offer many products to choose from including quality heirloom albums, prints and many other options. For details on print prices, please scroll to the bottom of the page

The 1-3 hour JinkyLife session is all about capturing your family or children just as they are. Normally conducted in a favourite or pretty location (such as at home, the holiday house,  beach or simply in a field) the JinkyLife session is a documentary style shoot, with a little bit of help, which celebrates connections, love and the uniqueness that is your family. Lots of cuddles, lots of giggles and lots of love.

Barb aims to create beautiful portraits that could fill an album with memories to pour over for years to come.

Thank you very much for dropping by!

JinkyArt is a family owned business, and a labour of love both creatively and heartfelt. It began in 2003 as a way to share our memories with family & friends.

Photography has given our family so much joy over the years and if there's anything you should know about me, it’s that I am so thankful for this experience. Working with children has always been my passion and I know in my heart of hearts that if I wasn't a child photographer I would still be working with kids and their families in some way.  Bringing photography and children together has been such an unexpected joy.  Years ago, I studied child care at TAFE and later worked as a child care professional.  I really believe my background has been such a fantastic source of inspiration and understanding.

My heart for photography sits in capturing childhood imagination and the beautiful way that a child's laughter can brighten anyone's day.

I won’t prattle on, because more than any stories, reasons, acclaims or accolades, I would really love for my work to speak for itself.

Thanks again for visiting.
